Paul Runyan and Others at Tennis Awards Ceremony

(Original Caption) Coral Gables, Florida...Presenting Check. New Yorker Wins First prize In Florida Tournament. Judge T. E. Price, President of the Miami Biltmore Country Club presents Paul Runyan of White Plains, New York, with a check for $1,000 as first prize in the Florida Year Round Clubs Open, in which six-inch cups were used. Runyan shot a brilliant 266, which was 18 strokes under par for the 72 holes in the first tournament ever played with the larger cups.
