VELYKA OLEKSANDRIVKA, UKRAINE - 2023/10/12: Parts of the defused Russian antipersonnel mine seen on the farm field during the demining operation in Velyka Oleksandrivka. In March 2022, Velyka Oleksandrivka was occupied by Russian forces. On 4 October 2022, Ukrainian authorities regained control of the settlement during the Southern counteroffensive. Many areas are have been heavily mined by Russian forces. According to Ukraine's State Emergency Service, it will take at least ten years to clear these areas.
