A 1930s Art Deco building in Midtown Manhattan in NYC. It's 1,049 feet tall with 77 floors and contains 3,862 windows. The building was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1976 and a New York City Landmark in 1978.
Chrysler building was one of the first to use stainless steel over exposed building structure. It's the world's tallest steel-supported brick building.
The ornaments, gargoyles, the esthetic of the building in general represents Chrysler automobile and the machine age of 1920s.
