Greer SpringsOregon County Missouri Driving north from Alton Missouri on Highway 19 we saw a sign for Greer Spring Trail head. We looked it up on in our Eleven Point River Visitor guide and found out that the trail to the spring was about one mile in length. So off we went down down down through three switchbacks, and a flight of stairs to the spring. What a treat it was. One of the most preserved and remote of all the springs in Missouri. Its said to double the flow of the Eleven Point River where it joins about 1 mile from the spring.
